Born in 1992, Habana, Cuba. Raised in Spain and lives in the United States. Mentored by his father photographer Jose Ney Milá.

Ney investigates artistic perspectives that offer essential insights into humanity’s complex relationship between nature and culture, using dendrochronology, photography, video and installation..

Ney has exhibited in the Southeast Museum of Photography, Snap Orlando, Chiang Mai PhotoFest and Downtown Arts Collective among others. Photolucida Critical Mass 2022 Finalist, Encontros da Imagem finalist 2022. He received the AAF Jim Shipley Scholarship Award in 2020 and has been awarded in international competitions like NIDA Symposium, Life Framer, The Independent photographer, PDN EDU, Budapest International Photo Awards, Tokyo International Photo Awards and Artslant  among others.
